North Philadelphia, July 14, 2005 — Philadelphia police have asked for an Amber Alert to be issued for a young girl feared abucted in North Philadephia.
Police say six-year-old Eshine Smith was taken from her home in the 34-hundred block of "A" street by a stranger around 1:15 this afternoon.
The suspect is a man in his twenty's. He's described as:
5'6" tall
Braids in his hair
A dark complexion
Thin build
He was wearing a white do-rag and a chef's type jacket.
He was last seen in a two-door gray Toyota on Ontario Street near Hope Street.
The missing girl, Eshine Smith, is African American. She's about three feet six inches tall, with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with a blue flower and yellow shorts.
